Collab with The Mercury Prize

Mercury Prize winner and Grammy nominee Arlo Parks with the piece I painted for her

I had the pleasure of creatively collaborating with BBC Music on the 2021 Mercury Prize.

Known for my small, unique paintings, I was approached by the Mercury Prize team with the idea, and we collaborated on look, vision, and creative deliverables – concepting the idea, painting the pieces, editing content, and physically getting the pieces over to London from a small hole-in-the-wall Post Office outside of Rocky Mountain National Park while on my cross-country road trip.

The result:

A few weeks after mailing out the last physical paintings thousands of miles away to London, the 2021 Mercury Prize show was streamed to 1.4+ million, and I watched my paintings be presented to and opened by the respective nominees.
